About Valerie Shanks​

I'm a Senior Production Artist at Hallmark Cards. The work that you will be seeing displayed in my site is my own original creation, developed by me at my home studio and in no way reflects Hallmark design or product.  I do promise to deliver quality, well designed and well constructed product for your enjoyment.

I have been sculpting since I was in the 5th grade.  I created a dinosaur scene for a science fair project.  I fell in love with expressing myself in a fully dimensional form and have been sculpting and painting ever since. 

I work in many mediums.  I have extensive experience as an artist engraver, painter and sculptor. 

I also do lamp work bead making, when I have the need to play with fire. 

I enjoy exploring new materials and techniques.

I will be adding my work to this site as I complete projects.

I will also be offering some of the projects for purchase or accept custom orders.  In addition to custom design work, I will be offering hand made jewelry constructed from my sculpting and lamp work studio and also selections of beads for use in jewelry design. 

They may be purchased individually or in sets.  You may order them loose(you create the piece)or made into a necklace, earrings or bracelet(I will do the work).  All prices will be contingent on material costs.
